How to make it

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease your cookie sheets.
  • 2. Beat peanut butter and sugar together in a large bowl until smooth with an electric mixer.
  • 3. Add beaten egg and baking soda to your peanut butter/sugar mixture and beat them together until everything is well combined.
  • 4. Roll 1 teaspoon of cookie dough into a ball and place on the cookie sheet.
  • 5. Set the dough balls about 1 inch apart on the cookie sheet and flatten them with the prongs of a fork, making a cross pattern.
  • 6. Bake cookies for 10 minutes or until they are puffed up and are a pale golden color.
  • 7. Let the cookies cool for about 2 minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack with a spatula.
  • 8. The cookies can be stored in an air tight container at room temperature for about 5 days.
