Chocolate Tequila Lime Sorbet

- 1/2 pound semi-sweet chocolate chipped into small pieces shopping list
- 1/2 c. cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/4 t. salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. water shopping list
- 1/2 c. tequila shopping list
- 2 t. lime juice shopping list
- 2/3 c. plus 3 T. sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Break up the chocolate into small pieces so that it will melt more easily. Place it in a bowl with the cocoa powder and salt. Put the water, tequila and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil to melt the sugar and cook off a little of the alcohol in the tequila. Pour the boiling mixture over the chocolate and stir to melt the chocolate completely. Coo the mixture and then add the lime juice. Freeze in an ice cream machine according to the manufacturer's directions.
