Tomato Chips

- 1 to 10 good size red tomato (depends on servings) shopping list
- 3 TBS. of olive oil shopping list
- fresh cracked pepper (to taste) shopping list
- sea salt (to taste) shopping list
- Fresh minced garlic, about 1 to 3 colves (depends on servings) shopping list
- basil, if wanted for extra zip shopping list
How to make it
- Cut tomatoes into quarters
- Place in bowel with olive oil and toss until well coated
- on sided cookie sheet, place parchemt paper to cover
- lay a single layer of the coated tomatoes skin side down
- sprinkle on pepper, salt and basil
- scatter out fresh garlic, making sure most of it lands on tomatoes
- Put in oven for 2.5 hours at 325 degrees.
- Temprature varies from oven to oven, make sure to check every 30 min. until you get the feel for how your oven will do.
- Tomatoes will be done when they shrink up to half their size, make sure not to burn them, it is easy to do if you don't watch them.
