From andr0m3da 13 years agoIngredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts; halved (4 pcs total) shopping list
- half a green pepper shopping list
- a handful of raisins shopping list
- ginger powder (to taste) shopping list
- coarse ground black pepper (to taste) shopping list
- minced garlic (to taste) shopping list
- soy sauce (i prefer low-sodium for taste) (to taste) shopping list
- 2 cups brown rice (uncooked) shopping list
- cinnamon sugar (to taste) shopping list
How to make it
- pour enough oil into a medium size skillet, enough to coat the bottom
- place chicken breasts in skillet, add curry and black pepper
- cook on medium heat for 10 minutes each side until done
- add sliced green peppers and raisins
- add soy sauce
- cook until everything kinda coagulates, but not so much so that the peppers have gone soft (unless you like em that way)
- prepare rice according to directions listed on package (i love boil in bag brown rice, only takes ten minutes in the microwave. i set that up right before i add the peppers and raisins to the chicken.)
- add soy sauce and cinnamon sugar
- enjoy!
- -as another side, i tend to stick to plain old steamed broccoli, it's a nice texture change from the chicken and rice, and a very plain but complimenting flavor.-
