How to make it

  • Melt butter in pot over medium heat and saute veges until soft. Stir in the flour and cook and stir into a paste.
  • Gradually add enough hot chicken broth for desired thick consistency.
  • Stir in the corn as much as desired
  • Add the clams and chicken if desired
  • Season with salt, pepper, powdered thyme
  • Finish off with some heavy cream to thin soup if needed and to lighten up flavor
  • Quantity depends on whether you serve a cup or deep soup bowl
