How to make it

  • use a 10" oven safe pan or Dutch Oven
  • Blend brown sugae and dry ingredients with fingers into large bowl
  • Mix in 1-1/2 bottle of warm dark beer with hands to look like dry biscuit dough (porter style beer)
  • Heat top and bottom evenly
  • Rotate bread after approx. 20 min
  • Generously rub 1/2 cube butter on top of loaf, when almost done
