How to make it

  • Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together, twice.
  • Cream butter and lard together and add to dry ingredients, using the tips of your fingers. Then add the milk mixed with egg whites, mixing with a knife until you have a very soft dogh. Place on your molding board. Pat out lightly until 3/4" thick. Cut out and bake in a hot oven 15 mintues.
