How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F
  • Lightly grease two 12-inch pizza pans
  • In a large bowl using an electric mixer, cream the butter, cream cheese, brown sugar, and granulated usgar.
  • Add the eggs
  • Beat at high speed until fluffy
  • In another bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt
  • Add to the creamed mixture
  • Mix until the dough is stiff
  • Stir in the chocolate chunks and walnuts
  • Divide the dough in half
  • Press each half evenly into a prepared pan
  • Press the top down with a fork dipped in water.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown around the edges and firm in the center
  • Cool in the pan on a wire rack
