Anchovy Toasts

- 1 (15-ounce) can white beans, drained, rinsed, mashed shopping list
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil shopping list
- 2 tablespoons minced Italian (flat-leaf) parsley shopping list
- 2 tablespoons minced onion shopping list
- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon lemon juice shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced pepper to taste shopping list
- 16 small slices French bread, toasted shopping list
- 1 can (2 ounces) anchovy fillets in olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Mix beans, oil, parsley, onion, lemon juice, garlic and pepper in a small bowl, making make 1 cup spread. Spoon a bit on each slice of toast and top each with 2 anchovies.
