Fresh Tomatillo Green Chile Salsa

- 1 pound tomatillos, husked, rinsed, and rough chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 serrano peppers chopped (or 1 jalapeño pepper) (add more to taste if you like it spicy) shopping list
- 1/2 cup packed cilantro leaves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt (heaping) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin shopping list
- 1 lime (juice of) shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
How to make it
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse to combine. Blend on low speed until a coarse puree is formed. Add more salt or lime to taste. Salsa can be thinned with more water if desired.
