Jerk Pork Chops With Peach Chutney

- 2 lbs. boneless pork loin (cut into 3/4 in. chops) shopping list
- Jerk Seasoning: shopping list
- 1 Tb. kosher salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. ground allspice shopping list
- 1 tsp. brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tsp. onion powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. paprika shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. dried thyme shopping list
- peach Chutney: shopping list
- 2 1/2 C. diced peeled peaches shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger shopping list
- 1 jalapeno pepper, minced (leave seeds in for more heat) shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt shopping list
- 1/2 C. cider vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 C. firmly packed light brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 C. golden raisins shopping list
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Coat pork chops with Jerk Seasoning. Bake about 30 min. or until cooked through.
- For Chutney:
- Place all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer until thick, about 25 min. Stir often to keep from sticking. Let coo, and store in an airtight container.
