Ingredients

How to make it

  • 1. In the saucepan, melt sugar on low-med heat, or until it turns golden brown and caramelizes. Don't brown too much.
  • 2. Immediately pour into baking dish before it hardens.
  • 3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs on medium speed. Add the remaining ingredients one by one and continue to beat until mixed well.
  • 4. Pour pudding batter through a strainer (to prevent bubbles from forming) into your caramel-ready baking dish. Cover dish with aluminum foil.
  • 5. Take a slightly larger pan, and fill it with water halfway. Put your caramel-egg dish inside that larger pan. Place in oven.
  • 6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 35 to 40 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • 7. Once it's baked, invert onto a plate, making sure the caramel juice doesn't spill everywhere. Serve cold. Enjoy!
