Cacciatore Chicken With Biscuits

- 2 tsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 tube refrigerator biscuits shopping list
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts shopping list
- 1 medium onion chopped shopping list
- 1 red pepper chopped shopping list
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp italian seasoning shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 375 F. While oven is heating, chop vegetables and cook with Italian seasoning, garlic, salt and sugar in olive oil over medium high heat.
- Cook biscuits according to directions on tube so they will be ready when the chicken dish is done.
- Cut up chicken into 1" pieces and add to pan with vegetables. Cook until chicken is browned.
- Add tomatoes and simmer, uncovered 5 minutes until chicken is done.
- Serve over biscuits and sprinkle with parsley.
