- 2 Cups Plain flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 Cup Granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 5 oz. bittersweet chocolate,coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 Cup oil shopping list
- 1/3 Cup irish cream shopping list
- 1/3 Cup Well water shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons instant coffee granules shopping list
- 7...Yes...'Seven'...Large Farm Fresh eggs,separated shopping list
- 1 Tablespoons instant coffee granules...dissolved in 2 Tablespoons irish cream shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons Farm Fresh butter,melted shopping list
- 2 Cups Confectioners sugar shopping list
How to make it
- ~ Takes the Cake ~
- Butter and flour a 10 inch tube pan.
- Mix the flour,sugar,baking powder,and salt in a large bowl.
- Melt the chocolate with the oil,Irish Cream,well water,and coffee granules...over barely simmering water.
- Transfer to a large bowl and beat the stuffins' out of the egg yolks with a wooden spoon,until well blended.
- Add the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Beat the heck out of the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.
- Use a large rubber spatula to fold them into the batter.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees... until firm to the touch and a slightly sugary crust had formed,this will take about 30 to 40 minutes.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes.
- Turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- ~ Icing on the Cake ~
- Beat the coffee mixture and butter into the confectioners sugar...until the frosting is thick and spreadable.
- Spread over the top and sides of the cake.
- ~ Execute into desired pieces and...enjoy~
