How to make it

  • ~ Takes the Cake ~
  • Butter and flour a 10 inch tube pan.
  • Mix the flour,sugar,baking powder,and salt in a large bowl.
  • Melt the chocolate with the oil,Irish Cream,well water,and coffee granules...over barely simmering water.
  • Transfer to a large bowl and beat the stuffins' out of the egg yolks with a wooden spoon,until well blended.
  • Add the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
  • Beat the heck out of the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.
  • Use a large rubber spatula to fold them into the batter.
  • Spoon the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees... until firm to the touch and a slightly sugary crust had formed,this will take about 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes.
  • Turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  • ~ Icing on the Cake ~
  • Beat the coffee mixture and butter into the confectioners sugar...until the frosting is thick and spreadable.
  • Spread over the top and sides of the cake.
  • ~ Execute into desired pieces and...enjoy~
