How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients from meat to water in a pan.Cook,covered on medium heat,stirring occasionally until lentil is tender and the liquid evaporates (for about 25 to 30 minutes).
  • Remove from heat and let it cool.Then grind in a food processor.
  • In a large bowl,combine meat mixture and all the remaining ingredients.Mix well.
  • Take a handful of the mixture and shape into round,half flat rounds.
  • Heat oil in a pan for shallow frying.
  • Fry on medium heat till they turn golden-brown on both sides.
  • Serve hot with onion rings and raita.
