How to make it

  • Mince garlic, set aside
  • add olive oil or butter to a 8 or 9 inch skillet and heat thoroughly
  • add garlic and saute until garlic is clear
  • add clams and juice to skillet
  • Meanwhile, boil water for pasta (add a little salt and oil to your water)
  • add wine (optional) and chopped parsley, reserving a little parsley for garnish
  • let simmer while pasta is cooking
  • add salt to taste
  • when pasta is done, drain and place in serving bowl. Pour clam sauce over pasta, garnish with pepper and remaining parsley.
