Simple Linguini And Clam Sauce

- 2 cans of clams shopping list
- 2-3 cloves of garlic shopping list
- a bunch of fresh Italian parsley shopping list
- 2-3 ounces of white wine (optional) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil or butter shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- package of linguini shopping list
How to make it
- Mince garlic, set aside
- add olive oil or butter to a 8 or 9 inch skillet and heat thoroughly
- add garlic and saute until garlic is clear
- add clams and juice to skillet
- Meanwhile, boil water for pasta (add a little salt and oil to your water)
- add wine (optional) and chopped parsley, reserving a little parsley for garnish
- let simmer while pasta is cooking
- add salt to taste
- when pasta is done, drain and place in serving bowl. Pour clam sauce over pasta, garnish with pepper and remaining parsley.
