Questions: What is treacle and is there a substitute?
What is wholemeal flour and is there a substitute for that?

I wish! My husband was just saying yesterday that he wanted a treacle tart - unfortunately, I can't buy treacle around here (no idea if you can get it elsewhere in the USA). Could I substitute simple syrup or molasses? Or a combination?
