How to make it

  • Soak the gelatin in a little cold water in a small heatproof bowl for 5 minutes.
  • Heat a pan of water to simmering point.
  • Crush the cardamom seeds until powdery and put in a large bowl with the chocolate.
  • Place the bowl of gelatin over the pan of simmering water and stir until dissolved.
  • At the same time, in a seperate pan, heat the cream until just boiling, then pour over the chocolate, using a whisk to stir the chocolate until it has melted.
  • Add the gelatin and stir until the mixture is smooth.
  • Let cool and pour into the tart shell, then let chill for at least 3 hours.
