How to make it

  • Pancakes: Mix dry ingredients, add milk and egg unbeaten; beat with a rotary beater until thoroughly mixed; drop spoonfuls on a lightly oiled griddle and cook until kight brown on each side. These should be very thin. Roll and serve immediately, with hot fruit sauce.
  • Fruit sauce: Heat all ingredients except orange sections for 5 minutes, without allowing to boil; add orange sections and pour around hot French pancakes.
