How to make it

  • Mix and sift dry ingredients. Cut shortening into mixture, using two knives. Add milk gradually to make soft dough. Toss on floured board, knead gently, and roll lightly to 1/4" - 1/2" thickness. Cut with buicuit cutter first dipped in flour. Bake on unbuttered pan in hot oven (450) 12-15 minutes.
