Zesty Chicken Chili

- 1 lb. ground chicken (or ground turkey) shopping list
- 1 14 oz. can chicken broth shopping list
- 1 15 oz. can garbanzo beans (or other white bean, such as Navy or cannellini), drained and rinsed shopping list
- 1 4 oz. can chopped green chiles shopping list
- 1 4 oz. can mushroom pieces, drained (optional) shopping list
- 1 package Williams chicken chili Seasoning Mix shopping list
- 1 onion, roughly chopped shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped shopping list
- 2 large carrots, thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 stalks celery, chopped shopping list
- 1 bell pepper, chopped, green or any color (optional but nice) shopping list
- few shakes Mrs. Dash garlic & Herb Seasoning (optional) - don't worry if you don't have this on hand. shopping list
How to make it
- Cook ground chicken with onion and garlic until no longer pink, breaking meat up as you go. Drain. Mix in chili seasoning packet and then add all remaining ingredients. Cover and bring to high heat. Reduce to simmer for at least 20 minutes until vegetables are done and chili is the consistency you desire. This is even better the next day!
