Italian Sausage Ragu

- 1 1/2 pounds of sweet italian sausage shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 large onion chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/2 yellow pepper chopped shopping list
- 1/2 green pepper chopped shopping list
- 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes shopping list
- 8 ounce can tomate paste shopping list
- 1/4 cup red wine shopping list
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil or dried shopping list
- 1 teaspoon oregano fresh or dried shopping list
- 1 teaspoon parsley fresh or dried shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves fresh or dried shopping list
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (optional) shopping list
- 2-3 dashes of worcestershire sauce shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Slice the sausages and place in a large pan.
- 2. When they are brown drain off any fat and put the sausages back in the pan.
- 3. Add the rest of the ingredients and then bring to the boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer and leave for at least 1 hour or move if needed.
- 4. Then serve on top of fresh pasta
