Ice Box Gingerbread

- 1 cup shortening shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup dark syrup shopping list
- 1 cup sour milk shopping list
- 1 3/4 tsp soda shopping list
- 3 cups flour shopping list
- 2 tsp ginger shopping list
- 2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at a time and beat thoroughly. Add syrup, milk, soda and flour to which spices have been added. Let set in refrigerator for several hours before cooking. Pour in muffin tins and bake at 350 for about 12 minutes.
- The mixture will keep in the frig for about a week.
