How to make it

  • Cut cake into bite-sized cubes. Lightly butter 10-inch tube pan. Alternate small scoops of slightly softened ice cream with cake cubes. Sprinkle each layer with chopped nuts. Work quickly until pan is filled. Freeze for several hours. A few minutes before serving, unmold on large dessert plate. If desired, top with a chocolate sauce.
