Moroccan Carrots

- 4 medium size carrots shopping list
- 1/4 cup minced onion shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 6 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 cup raisins shopping list
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Peel carrots and thinly slice.
- 2. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan.
- 3. Add carrots, onion and nutmeg.
- 4. When onions have browned add the vinegar.
- 5. Cover and cook over a low heat until carrots are tender.
- 6. Add the raisins and the brown sugar.
- 7. When the raisins are warm then serve.
