- 1/2 c. oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 t. sugar shopping list
- 2 T. cold milk shopping list
- 1 t. salt shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 1/2 c. flour shopping list
- 1/2 c. butter shopping list
- 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 5 cups apples, peeled, cored (Granny Smith) shopping list
- 1 t. fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 t. nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 t. cinnamon shopping list
- 2 T. flour shopping list
How to make it
- Crust: In bowl, combine dry ingredients, then oil and milk. Stir and form into a ball. Place in pie pan and form crust by patting and pressing with your hand along bottom and up sides.
- Filling: Combine ingredients in big bowl then pour into shell.
- Topping: In medium bowl, combine ingredients with pie cutter or fork until crumbly. (I usually end up mixing with my hands at the end). Best if butter is cold. Sprinkle over pie.
- Place in large paper bag, secure close with staples. This may seem scary but I have never had a paper bag catch on fire. It's fun and makes for a better *wow* factor!
- Bake 350 for 1 hr 45 min
- NO PEEKING!
