How to make it

  • Crust: In bowl, combine dry ingredients, then oil and milk. Stir and form into a ball. Place in pie pan and form crust by patting and pressing with your hand along bottom and up sides.
  • Filling: Combine ingredients in big bowl then pour into shell.
  • Topping: In medium bowl, combine ingredients with pie cutter or fork until crumbly. (I usually end up mixing with my hands at the end). Best if butter is cold. Sprinkle over pie.
  • Place in large paper bag, secure close with staples. This may seem scary but I have never had a paper bag catch on fire. It's fun and makes for a better *wow* factor!
  • Bake 350 for 1 hr 45 min
  • NO PEEKING!
