How to make it

  • Preheat Nesco and rack to 400.
  • Remove gizzards and stuff in cavity of chicken. (I fry them up for the dogs)
  • Rinse bird well inside and out...pat dry with paper towels.
  • Brush oil on bird.
  • Place butter pats under skin over breast.
  • Mix rest of ingredients and rub on bird.
  • Place bird on rack in Nesco. Turn Nesco to 375 and
  • cook for about 1 1/2 hours or till meat thermometer reads 165.
  • Let bird rest 10 minutes before cutting.
