How to make it

  • Finally decided to go for something simple for the meat. Made home-made mini burgers. This ones are a little spicy and well BBQ sauce cuz i like it :P
  • The meat Mix contains basil, oregano, garlic, onions, green peppers, ají(this will add an extra spiciness to the meat) , salt, pepper. Let stand for a few minutes (covered)) I have a small conventional oven and It happens to have a nice grill so I just made my mix and made the mini burgers (about 2 inches wide taking into account they will puff up and shrink in the process. Pre heat the oven 450degrees place your burgers in close and flip occasionally (until they are well done usually 45minutes to an hour depending on your oven and how many times you actually opened the door heheheh, let things cook.) (why flip... cuz I still like treating it as a regular BBQ and i like the stripes..
  • In the end I mixed 50-50 BBQ sauce and Ketchup for my "sauce/dressing" cuz the voices in my head say so. It adds a little more flavor to the burgers and some moisture.
  • Baked potatoes (little red ones but you can use whichever you want)rough mashed, with green/yellow apple pieces (squares) a mix of Garlic,(light) basil, cream cheese and butter (low fat :P ).
  • I had enough for another serving so I got my lunch for tomorrow already setup :) Remember I usually do things by taste and by eye measurements take the fun out of my way of cooking however in some occasions it is needed. Have fun with your cooking. Enjoy.
