How to make it

  • 1. I put my leftovers of Italian Sausage Ragu in a large pan and to that I added the carrots. and the pearl barley and stock.
  • 2. Let it come to a boil and then simmer for about 20-30 minutes until the carrots are done.
  • 3. Add the spinach and stir and let simmer for about 15 minutes.
  • 4. Then serve and top with your favorite topping. (I used roasted parsnip slices)
