Smashed Potato, Parsnips And Rutabaga

- 8 cups cubed potatoes shopping list
- 4 cups of peeled and chopped parsnips shopping list
- 1 rutabaga peeled and chopped shopping list
- 1 onion chopped shopping list
- 3 tablespoons salt, divided shopping list
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese softened shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- 1. In saucepan combine potatoes, parsnips, rutabagas and onion and 2 tablespoons salt add water to cover.
- 2. Bring to a boil over high heat and then reduce toa simmer for 10-12 minutes or until tender.
- 3. Drain well
- 4. Add remaining salt, cream cheese, butter and pepper and mash together.
