Buckwheat Pancakes

- 3/4 of a cup of buckwheat flour shopping list
- 3/4 of a cup of all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of sugar shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups of milk shopping list
- 2 egg whites shopping list
- 3 tablespoons of melted butter shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Sift together both flours, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
- 2. Make a round opening in the center of the mixture and slowly pour in milk, egg whites and melted butter.
- 3. Mix together until there is a smooth texture.
- 4. Over medium-high heat, lightly oil a griddle or frying pan.
- 5. Pour batter by 1/4 cupful onto the hot griddle.
- 6. Brown pancakes on both sides.
- 7. Serve with syrup or honey.
- 8. Batter can be prepared the night before. If so, place covered in the refrigerator.
