How to make it

  • 1. Saute the onions and garlic in the pan first.
  • 2. In a food processor blend one can of the black beans and the cumin, broth, onions and garlic until well blended.
  • 3. Heat the mixture in the pan, adding the sherry, and lime juice and the remaining can of the black beans that were left whole.
  • 4. Serve in individual bowls and top with some sour cream or topping of your choice.
  • I use parsnip chips for my soups.
