Pecan Krispie Cookie

My friend and former colleague, Gladys Loftis, used to bring in tons of food at Christmas which, in my eyes, it would take a Christmas miracle to complete, but among those goodies were these wonderful cookies that were my favorite. Read more I would eat until I got sick. See less
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup margarine (room temperature) shopping list
- 3/4 cup canola oil shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 3/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 3 1/2 cups plain flour shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 tsp cream of tartar shopping list
- 1 cup coconut shopping list
- 1 cup Rice Krispies shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Mix in order given. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Do not overcook (slightly brown around the edges). Cool before removing from cookie sheet. Makes 7-10 dozen depending on siz of cookie. Store in airtight container.
