How to make it

  • Remove skin from ham.
  • Place fat side up on rack in pan.
  • Bake it up at 325 degrees for about 2 hours.
  • Saute' onion,celery,and your choice of herb in butter until nice and tender.
  • Combine sauteed veggies and next 6 ingredients...stir gently until well mixed.
  • Score Ham in a diamond design...cutting about 2 inches deep and 2 inches apart.
  • Press stuffing into cuts.
  • Combine brown sugar,corn syrup,and orange juice in saucepan...cook over medium heat,stirring all the while,until the sugar dissolves.
  • Brush down ham with the sweet glaze...reserve remaining.
  • Bake once more...at same temperture,until the internal reaches 140 degrees,brushing frequently with the sweet glaze.
  • Garnish if you like...but I don't...unless it's with relish.
