How to make it

  • 1.Preheat oven to gas mark 4. Lightly Grease and line the base of the tins.
  • 2.Sieve flour, cocoa and baking Powder into a bowl and add butter sugar and eggs. Beat together with a hand mixer until smooth.
  • 3.Divide mixture between the two cake tins and level the surface.
  • 4.Bake for 20 to 25min in the centre of the oven until springy to the touch. Allow to cool for 5min and then transfer on to wire wrack.
