Ingredients

How to make it

  • 1. While turkey cooks tear bread into small cube size pieces; place in a large pan at least 8 quarts in size, set aside.
  • 2. In small saucepan over medium heat, cook celery and onions in hot butter until tender, about 10 minutes.
  • 3. Mix parsley, salt, poultry seasoning, and pepper in small dish, add to cooked vegetables and blend well.
  • 4. Stir mixture into bread cubes until well mixed, add broth mixing well. Add beaten eggs and mix until eggs are throughout the mixture.
  • 5. This makes enough stuffing for an 8 to 11 pound turkey, about 8 cups.
  • If you prefer (I do) bake the stuffing in the oven.
  • 6. Preheat oven to 350* F. Place stuffing in a 9 X 13 inch glass or metal baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown, ENJOY.
