Pa & Ma's Pecan Pie

- 1 9 inch raw pie crust prepared and set aside. shopping list
- 3 eggs. shopping list
- 1 cup light corn syrup. shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter melted, (5-1/3 tablespoons). shopping list
- 2/3 cup sugar. shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt. shopping list
- 1 heaped up cup pecan halves. shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Preheat oven to 375*F.
- 2. Beat eggs, melted butter, and syrup.
- 3. Add sugar and salt, blending well.
- 4. Mix in pecans by hand until well blended.
- 5. Pour into pastry lined pie pan.
- 6. Bake until set, 40-50 minutes.
- 7. Cool slightly. Serve warm or let cool to serve.
- 8. This is an old fashioned custard pecan pie.
- 9. This recipe is from the famous Williams-burg Inn served there for over 225 years
