How to make it

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375*F.
  • 2. Beat eggs, melted butter, and syrup.
  • 3. Add sugar and salt, blending well.
  • 4. Mix in pecans by hand until well blended.
  • 5. Pour into pastry lined pie pan.
  • 6. Bake until set, 40-50 minutes.
  • 7. Cool slightly. Serve warm or let cool to serve.
  • 8. This is an old fashioned custard pecan pie.
  • 9. This recipe is from the famous Williams-burg Inn served there for over 225 years
