Curried Rice Pilaf

- 1/2 cup chopped green onions shopping list
- 2 garlic gloves minced shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups orzo shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder (or adjust to your taste) shopping list
- 3 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cups raisins shopping list
- 1/2 cup almonds (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- 1. In a large skillet add the onions, garlic and butter and saute until tender.
- 2. Then add the rest of the ingredients and place lid and simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until tender and done. Stir frequently if liquid is all absorbed then add some more broth.
