Trevor City Fudge

Christmas 2009, Nana was making fudge, and we talked about ‘Traverse City Fudge’. It immediately occurred to me how much that sounded like ‘Trevor City’. Trevor is Nana’s younger great grandson, and this is in his honor.
Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 3 cups peanut butter baking chips shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- dash salt shopping list
- 1 cup M&M Plain candies ~or~ Reese’s Pieces peanut butter candies shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Combine sweetened condensed milk and baking chips in a saucepan over boiling water (double boiler). Stir occasionally until chips are melted.
- 2. Take off of heat and add in flavoring, salt, candies and chopped nuts. Spoon into a buttered or foil lined 9x9-inch pan. Cool until firm.
- 3. Lift foil sling out of pan and onto a cutting board. Cut into 1" squares. Store covered at room temperature.
