Meyer Lemon & Thyme Pound Cake

- 1 1/2 C AP flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 C cake flour shopping list
- 1 t baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 t salt shopping list
- 1 C buttermilk shopping list
- 2 T Meyer lemon juice shopping list
- 1 t vanilla shopping list
- 2 C Soft butter shopping list
- 2 C sugar shopping list
- 1/4 C lemon zest shopping list
- 2 T thyme shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Oven @ 350*
- Combine & sift flours, baking powder & salt
- Combine lemon juice & vanilla
- Beat butter - slowly add sugar, zest & thyme.
- Faster, mix for 10 more min. or until very light & creamy.
- Add eggs 1 at a time, slowly & alternately add flour & buttermilk.
- Bake for 40 min, cover with foil & bake another 40 min.
- Add Glaze:
- 1/2 C Lemon Juice
- 2 C Powder Sugar
- 1/2 Vanilla Bean
