Butterballs

- 1 16oz loaf of white bread shopping list
- 2c milk shopping list
- 2 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 stick of butter shopping list
- 1tsp allspice shopping list
How to make it
- Toast bread and grind fine
- Heat milk and butter to boiling and add to bread crumbs
- Mix well and cover, let stand 5 - 10 minutes.
- Add eggs and allspice
- roll into balls the size of a walnut
- drop one into boiling water to see if it stays together, if it doesn't, add another egg.
- place on sheet pans and freeze solid
- when frozen, place in freezer bags
- store up to 6 months in freezer
