How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375. Grease 12 muffin cups or line with papers.
  • Combine butter and eggs. Beat in sugar. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Alternate adding 1/3 dry mixture and milk to the egg mixture until all is added and mixed. Fold in fruit. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Sprinkle each muffin top with sugar.
  • Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes.
