Pistachio Squares

Crust:
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans shopping list
Filling:
- 250g (8 oz.) very soft cream cheese shopping list
- 1 cup icing sugar shopping list
- One 6 serving instant pistachio pudding mix shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
Topping:
- 1 cup real whip cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds (optional) shopping list
- 2 tbsp. Bailey’s liqueur (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350˚
- Grease 9x13 pan
- Line with wax paper, grease
- Mix crust ingredients until crumbly
- Squish into bottom of prepared pan
- Bake for 15 mins. at 350˚
- Cool.
- Mix together cream cheese and icing sugar
- Spread on top of baked crust
- Mix pistachio mix and milk until free of lumps
- Chill for 15 mins.
- Spread pudding over cream cheese layer
- Whip whipping cream until stiff and taught, mix in Bailey’s
- Spread over pudding
- Sprinkle chopped almonds on top (optional)
