How to make it

  • Seperate drumsticks from thighs, quarter breasts, skin all pieces.
  • Combine ginger, onion, garlic, almonds, peppers, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cayenne and salt in food processor or blender. Blend into paste.
  • Put oil in large pan and heat to medium high. When hot add paste. Stir and fry for 10-12 mins.
  • Put in chicken with the water, lemon juice and black pepper. brig to boil. Cover, turn to low and simmer gently for 25 mins till chicken tender, stirring often.
