The Best Chocolate Fudge

- 4 1/4 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 can evaporated milk shopping list
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows shopping list
- 18 oz. semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 2 sticks butter shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Butter a 9 x 13 pan and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine marshmallows, chocolate, butter and vanilla. Set aside.
- In a large dutch oven, combine sugar and evaporated milk. Stir well to combine. Turn heat to high and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches "Soft Ball" stage on candy thermometer (approx 235 degrees). Carefully pour hot sugar mixture over chocolate and butter and mix with electric mixer until mixture is smooth and butter and marshmallows have melted. Once everything is nicely mixed, pour into pan and smooth over evenly. Let set for a few hours before cutting into small pieces.
