How to make it

  • If your venison has no fat, heat about a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet. Mix venison, onion and bell pepper in heated skillet. Salt and pepper to taste. (I use about a teaspoon or so, each.) As meat is browned and veggies softened, add ketchup and barbecue sauce. If you prefer one of the latter flavors over the other, add more of it. Heat through. Serve on buns. (We like it with a slice of cheese.)
