  • 1. In a large microwave proof bowl, bring the 2 sticks of butter, milk, and sugar to a boil in the microwave on highest setting; cook until soft ball stage (236°F), about 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Check with candy thermometer.
  • 2. Add peanut butter, marshmallow creme, and vanilla; mix well.
  • 3. Pour into prepared baking dish; chill until set. Cut into 1-inch squares, and arrange on a serving plate. Cover with plastic wrap.
