Chicken Rolls

- 2 - 3 oz pkgs cream cheese (one with chives) shopping list
- 3/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1/8 tsp pepper shopping list
- 2 cups cubed chicken (cooked) shopping list
- 1 - 4 oz can mushrooms shopping list
- 2 cans crescent rolls shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts shopping list
- 2/3 cup finely crushed stuffing shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1 can cream of chicken soup shopping list
- 1/3 can water shopping list
- 1/4 cup sour cream shopping list
- lemon juice to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cream together cheese, pepper and 1/4 cup butter. Fold in chicken and mushrooms. Place 1/4 cup mixture out for each roll; roll into a ball. Dip in 1/2 cup melted butter, roll in the mixture of finely crumbed stuffing and nuts.
- Heat sauce ingredients in a double boiler and pour over chicken rolls.
- Bake at 325 for 25 minutes.
