Rosemary Lamb Chops With Balsamic Reduction

- 3/4 teaspoon dried rosemary shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
- 8 Loin lamb chops (the big ones) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon olive oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup minced shallots shopping list
- 1/3 cup aged balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 3/4 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
How to make it
- 1. In bowl mix together the rosemary, basil, thyme, salt and pepper rub this mixture onto the lamb chops both sides place them in a dish, cover and let sit for about 20-30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- 2. In a skillet heat the olive oil and place the lamb chops in the skillet and cook for about 3 1/2 minutes per side and then place them in baking dish and put in a preheated oven 350 degrees f for about 30-40 minutes
- 3. Then put the shallots in the skillet and cook for a few minutes just until browned stir in the vinegar scraping any bits of lamb fromthe bottom of the skillet then stir in the chicken broth continue to cook and stir over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes until the sauce has reduced by half if you dont the sauce will be runny and not good then remove from the heat and stir in the butter and pour over the lamb chops
