Flourless Chocolate Cake

- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 18-1oz squares dark chocolate shopping list
- 1 cup unsalted butter shopping list
- 6 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 300F (150C).
- Grease one 10" round cake pan.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat combine water, salt and sugar. Stir until completely dissolved and set aside.
- Melt chocolate in either a double boiler or the microwave.
- Cut the butter up and beat it into the chocolate, one piece at a time. Then beat in the hot sugar water. Slowly beat in the eggs, one at a time.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Place this pan into a larger pan and fill the larger pan half way up the sides of the cake pan with boiling water.
- Bake cake in the water bat at 300F for 45 minutes. The middle will still look wet when its done. *Chill cake overnight in pan.*
- To unmold, dip the bottom of the cake pan in hot water for 10 seconds and invert onto a serving plate.
